Results, and how they happened
Some of these clients are under NDA, so they're described by category instead of name. The numbers are real.
$700K
to $13.7M
Multi-brand specialty retailer. 2 years.
Full channel build-out on a large catalog
A large multi-brand catalog. I ran the whole channel: catalog and flat file work, PPC, pricing, inventory planning and content.
Content was the bottleneck, so I built and led a content team and pipeline. In one year it produced more than 1,000 custom A+ pages and 18,000+ custom graphics.
$350K
to $2.1M
Condition 1, protective hard cases. 18 months.
Forecasting, replenishment and a brand overhaul
Growth was capped by stockouts and listings that didn't sell the product. I took over forecasting and FBA replenishment so the top sellers stayed in stock, rebuilt PPC, cleaned up the catalog, and redid the brand content and A+.
$400K
to $1.8M
Consumer products brand. 2 years.
Steady compounding from fixing the basics
No single trick. Better listings raised conversion, which made ads cheaper, which bought more rank, which raised organic sales. That's what happens when one person owns all of it.
20,000+
units a month
Sports and outdoors product. Top 100 in category.
From launch to the category's top 100
Launch pricing, aggressive early PPC to earn rank, and inventory deep enough to hold the position once we got there.
5 products
at #1
Brightz, LED bike and accessory lights. Seasonal.
Winning the seasonal peak
Seasonal products have a short window. Pricing moves timed against competitor stock, PPC pushed hard ahead of peak, and inventory planned so we didn't run dry at the top. Five seasonal products reached #1 Best Seller.
The analysis behind the work
These are the kinds of analyses I run for clients. Each one ends in a decision, not a slide.
Bids from margin
Calculating the bid that hits a target ACoS and still leaves the net margin you need.
Dayparting and placement
Ad performance by hour and placement, so spend moves to the hours and slots that actually convert.
Zero-order words
Finding the individual words in search terms that never produce an order, then negating them across the account.
Promotion profitability
Whether a "buy 3, get 20% off" offer makes money once fees, ad cost and cannibalization are counted.
Contribution margin by SKU
True profit per product after referral fees, FBA fees, storage, returns and ads.
Returns and margin
How FBA and FBM return fees change what a product really earns.
Vendor Central pricing
Net PPM targets and whether a 1P relationship is worth it versus selling 3P.
Market sizing
Category demand, competitor sales and pricing before a launch, so you know the ceiling before you spend.
